Step-by-step instructions
- Preparation of cylinders and tools. Before working, make sure the cylinders have reached a temperature of 25-30 °C. In colder conditions, a heating shell can be used to keep the cylinders at the correct temperature.
- Protect the work area. Clean and dry the surface. Isolate components that will not be covered with foam, secure windows and installations with protective tape.
- Wear personal protective equipment. The operator should wear a hooded suit, gloves, goggles and a respirator. Isocyanate and polyol can irritate the skin and respiratory tract.
- Cylinder connection. Connect the red hose to cylinder A (isocyanate) and the blue hose to cylinder B (polyol). Apply the nozzle suitable for the chosen application and open the valves.
- System test. Before spraying properly, take a test shot into a bag or onto a cardboard box to check that the ingredients mix evenly. If the colour of the foam deviates from the norm, replace the nozzle.
- Spraying. Guide the gun from a distance of 30-50 cm, with movements parallel to the surface.
