    • Regulations for returns and complaints

      1. General Provisions

      1.1. Scope of Application
      This Returns and Complaints Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) applies exclusively to purchases made by business entities (B2B), i.e., entrepreneurs or individuals conducting business activities who purchase goods for purposes directly related to their business or professional activities.
      2K-Trade Sp. z o.o. may accept orders via the Internet (e.g., through the website, email); however, such orders are intended exclusively for business customers (B2B).
      1.2. Purchases by Individuals
      2K-Trade Sp. z o.o. does not conduct remote (online) sales for consumers (individuals purchasing goods for purposes unrelated to business activities).
      If an individual (consumer) wishes to purchase goods, they may do so only through a personal visit to the office of 2K-Trade Sp. z o.o. The terms of purchase (price, quantity, deadlines, etc.) will be determined individually.
      1.3. Legal Basis
      This Policy takes into account generally accepted trade norms, selected requirements of European law, and the specific nature of 2K-Trade Sp. z o.o.’s operations.
      Individual provisions may be modified if required by the law of the country in which the client is registered or where the delivery is executed.
      1.4. Validity and Acceptance of the Policy
      By placing an order via the website or email, you declare that:

      • You are acting as an entrepreneur (a legal entity or a self-employed individual) and are purchasing goods for business or professional purposes.
      • You have read and accept the terms of this Policy.
      • The Policy is available on the website of 2K-Trade Sp. z o.o. and is binding for all business customers (B2B) making a purchase from our company.

      2. Return Conditions (B2B)
      2.1. Unconditional Returns
      2K-Trade Sp. z o.o. does not accept unconditional returns of goods after shipment unless the conditions specified in this Policy apply (quality defects or assortment errors).
      Business customers (B2B) are not entitled to the consumer right of returning goods without providing a reason, as provided in consumer protection regulations.
      2.2. Exceptions (Complaints)
      Complaints are accepted only in the following situations:

      • Quality defects: Factory defects or other damages not caused by the buyer.
      • Assortment errors: Receiving a different product or quantity than ordered.

      3. Complaint Submission Procedure
      3.1. Complaint Submission Deadline
      If quality defects or assortment discrepancies are detected, the buyer is required to promptly (typically no later than 5–7 calendar days from the receipt of goods) submit a written complaint (via email) to the seller.
      3.2. Submission Format and Contact Address
      All complaints should be directed to the following email address: support@2k-trade.com.
      The subject line should read: “Complaint for Order No. ___ from ___,” appropriately filling in the order number and date of order/receipt.
      3.3. Complaint Content
      The complaint should include:

      • The order number and date,
      • The name and quantity of the complained product,
      • A description of the detected defects or assortment discrepancies,
      • Photographic or video documentation (especially in case of damaged packaging or the product itself).

      3.4. Further Verification
      2K-Trade Sp. z o.o. reserves the right to request additional information from the Buyer and, in justified cases, to conduct an expert assessment or product inspection (with the participation of a company representative or an expert).

      4. Complaint Processing and Compensation
      4.1. Processing Time
      The standard complaint processing time is up to 14 calendar days from the moment 2K-Trade Sp. z o.o. receives all necessary information for complaint evaluation.
      4.2. Possible Resolutions
      If a complaint is deemed valid, 2K-Trade Sp. z o.o. may offer:

      • Replacement of the product with an identical or equivalent one,
      • Partial or full refund, including product price and possible transportation costs,
      • Another solution agreed upon with the Buyer (e.g., a discount on the next order).

      4.3. Complaint Rejection
      If the complaint is rejected, the company will provide the Buyer with a written (email) response, including the rationale for the decision.

      5. Packaging and Transport for Returns (Accepted Complaints)
      5.1. Product Security
      If the product must be returned (for replacement or expert assessment), the Buyer is responsible for properly packaging it to prevent additional damage during transportation.
      5.2. Transport Costs
      If the complaint is deemed justified, shipping costs (return and re-delivery) are usually covered by 2K-Trade Sp. z o.o.
      If the complaint is found to be unjustified, transportation costs may be charged to the Buyer.

      6. Responsibilities of the Parties
      6.1. Buyer’s Responsibilities
      Upon receiving the goods, the Buyer should immediately check their conformity with the order (quantity, assortment) and ensure that there is no visible damage.
      When accepting goods from a courier/transport company, the Buyer must inspect them in the presence of the carrier. If damages are found, a damage report must be written jointly with the courier immediately.
      If such a report is not prepared at the time of receipt, 2K-Trade Sp. z o.o. reserves the right to refuse consideration of damage complaints, as the company will be unable to pursue claims against the carrier.
      6.2. Responsibilities of 2K-Trade Sp. z o.o.
      The company undertakes to process complaints promptly and provide an official response to the Buyer.
      If the complaint is deemed valid, 2K-Trade Sp. z o.o. will fulfill all obligations related to compensation or product replacement.

      7. Restrictions for Individuals
      7.1. Online Sales
      2K-Trade Sp. z o.o. does not process online orders from consumers (individuals not engaged in business activities).
      7.2. Purchase at the Office
      If a consumer (individual) wishes to purchase our products, they may do so only through a personal visit to the office of 2K-Trade Sp. z o.o. The terms of such a transaction (price, quantity, warranty, etc.) are determined individually.
      7.3. No “Consumer” Remote Returns
      Statutory consumer rights (e.g., the right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days without providing a reason) do not apply to B2B transactions.

      8. Final Provisions
      8.1. Public Availability of the Policy
      This Policy is published on the official website of 2K-Trade Sp. z o.o. and is binding for all business customers who decide to make a purchase from our company.
      8.2. Dispute Resolution
      All disputes regarding the interpretation or application of this Policy shall be resolved through negotiations. If an agreement cannot be reached, the parties may refer the matter to the competent court in accordance with applicable law and jurisdiction clauses.
      8.3. Invalidity of Specific Provisions
      If any provision of this Policy is deemed invalid or inconsistent with mandatory legal provisions, the remaining provisions shall remain in force and binding for the parties.

      Aluminium profiles

      Aluminium profiles are integral to the installation of stretch ceilings. They are used to create a stable structure on which the ceiling will be stretched. Thanks to their strength, aluminium profiles ensure the durability and reliability of the stretch ceiling. They are available in a variety of sizes and installation methods to suit the specific needs of the project.

    • Which aluminium profile should I choose for a stretch ceiling?

      The choice of profile depends on the effect you want to achieve and on the layout of the room. 2K-Trade offers three main families of mounting profiles:

      • Wall profiles – mounted along the walls, they form the main frame for the stretched membrane. There are several types of wall profiles, differing mainly in how they attach to the wall and whether they can hold an LED strip for contour lighting:
      • Comfort – a profile where, after the membrane is stretched, the mounting gap is closed with a special flexible insert. This gives the ceiling a smooth, finished look from wall to wall with no visible seam.
      • Classic – so-called shadow profiles. They leave a narrow gap between the ceiling edge and the wall, creating a “floating” ceiling effect. Depending on the model, an LED strip can be fitted for contour lighting. This group includes models such as SOMBRA, CONTOUR-PRO LUX and MODEL-ST – shadow profiles available both without LED and with an LED-strip channel.
      • Other wall profiles – depending on their purpose they may have a single or double harpoon (for PVC film or fabric membranes) and different fixing methods. Some versions include an LED channel, others serve purely as a load-bearing frame. End caps, cover strips and other accessories are available for wall profiles.
      • Ceiling profiles – marked with the suffix “SU”, used to create islands and recesses, or to mount a ceiling where wall fixing is not possible (e.g. rooms with a lot of glazing). They have a special shelf that lets them be fixed to the slab or load-bearing structure. The SU series includes both simple profiles for dividing a surface and models with LED lighting.
      • Structural profiles – niche or multi-level. They allow unusual constructions to be built: curtain-track recesses, ceiling islands and two-level transitions. These are specially shaped profiles, often combined with a curtain track or fitted with two grooves for different membranes.

      If the ceiling is to include light lines, it’s worth choosing a Gamma-type profile with an LED-strip chamber. Gamma 20 SLIM or Gamma 30 SLIM has a lower cross-section and fits one or two LED strips, so it works well in rooms with limited height. The Gamma 30 version allows a wider light line, while Gamma 50 is intended for very wide light bands.

      In short, when choosing a profile it’s worth deciding whether you want an elegant, gap-free finish (Comfort), a floating shadow effect (Classic, SOMBRA, CONTOUR-PRO LUX, MODEL-ST), mounting at slab level (the SU series), or a recess/multi-level structure. Another factor is whether an LED strip is needed, and the profile’s cross-section height.

    • Is a wall, ceiling or structural profile better?

      Each type serves a different function. A wall profile acts as the perimeter frame the membrane is fixed to. Depending on the model chosen, this can be the Comfort series (with a flexible insert) or Classic/Sombra (with a shadow effect). A ceiling profile (SU series) is designed for building islands and recesses, or for rooms where there is no room to fix a profile to the wall. Thanks to its shelf, it allows the ceiling to be fixed to the slab.

      There is no universal profile – in practice, a combination of wall, ceiling and corner profiles is used depending on the project.

    • How do aluminium stretch-ceiling profiles differ from ordinary LED profiles?

      Ordinary LED profiles serve as housings for LED strips. They have a small cross-section, and their job is to dissipate heat and hide the diodes behind a diffuser. They are not load-bearing – they are screwed to a surface and the strip is glued inside. A stretch-ceiling profile, on the other hand, plays a structural role: it is the frame the membrane is stretched onto. Besides the LED-strip space, it has a special groove for the harpoon, where the film’s edge “clicks” into place. Ceiling profiles are more rigid, with a larger cross-section, often fitted with positioning grooves for joining segments, and can carry the membrane’s tension. LED versions (e.g. Gamma 20, Gamma 30, Gamma 50) combine both functions – they allow an LED strip to be fitted while also holding the ceiling.

    • Are aluminium profiles visible after a stretch ceiling is installed?

      With standard solutions, the profiles are hidden under the membrane. With the Comfort series, the mounting gap is covered by a flexible insert, so the transition from wall to ceiling is fully concealed. Shadow profiles from the Classic, SOMBRA, CONTOUR-PRO LUX and MODEL-ST series leave a narrow shadow – you see only a dark gap between the ceiling edge and the wall. LED-lit profiles (Gamma) are visible as lines of light on the ceiling, while curtain-track profiles create a recess for curtains. Aside from that, most structural elements are invisible once the membrane is stretched, or are powder-coated so the profile becomes an integral part of the interior.

    • What types of aluminium profiles are there for stretch ceilings?

      2K-Trade and similar manufacturers offer several main profile groups:

      • Wall profiles (Comfort, Classic, Sombra, Contour-Pro Lux, Model-ST series) – mounted to the walls. In the Comfort series the gap is closed with a flexible insert; in the Classic series and related models a thin gap creates a floating effect. Some models have an additional LED-strip chamber.
      • “SU” ceiling profiles – designed for mounting islands and recesses, or wherever wall fixing isn’t possible. They have a shelf for fixing to the slab and may include an LED-strip chamber.
      • Structural profiles – niche, multi-level, curtain-track. They make it easier to build curtain-track recesses, multi-level ceilings and unusual shapes.
      • Gamma LED profiles – Gamma 20, Gamma 20 SLIM, Gamma 30, Gamma 30 SLIM and Gamma 50. They differ in gap width (20–50 mm), height and number of LED channels. SLIM models have a reduced cross-section and are meant for rooms with limited height, while Gamma 50 gives a very wide light line.
      • Curved and flexible profiles – allow arcs and wave shapes to be formed; made from thin aluminium or PVC, factory-bent to the design.
      • Curtain-track profiles – double/triple tracks hidden in the ceiling, for hanging curtains. Available in white or black, in lengths of 2 and 3.2 m. An LED strip can be added to light the recess.

    • Can an aluminium profile be installed by myself, or do I need a team?

      A simple, self-installed stretch ceiling in a small room is achievable if you have the right tools: a saw for cutting profiles, a drill with wall plugs, a spirit level, a gas heater and a set of tucking spatulas for fitting the membrane. The profiles must be levelled precisely, the room heated to around 60°C, and the film’s edge placed into the harpoon. For larger or more complex projects (arcs, multi-level structures, printed patterns) it’s better to hire a team, since this requires experience, precision and extra tools.

    • How do I install an aluminium profile for a stretch ceiling?

      Measuring and marking the mounting line – calculate the room’s perimeter and plan the run of the profiles (wall, ceiling, LED). Mark the mounting line on the walls or slab using a laser level and a chalk line.

      • Preparing the profiles – cut the profiles (usually sold in 2 m or 2.5 m lengths) with a mitre saw at the right angle. Remove sharp edges with a file. Fit corners and connectors.
      • Fixing – hold the profile against the wall or slab, mark the holes and drill them. Insert wall plugs and screw the profile down every 15–20 cm. Ceiling profiles should be fixed to steel angle brackets or directly to the slab.
      • Joining – join profile sections using dedicated connectors or built-in positioning grooves. Make sure the line is straight.
      • Installing lighting – if the profile has an LED chamber, stick the LED strip to the aluminium base before stretching the membrane, and connect the wires to the power supply.
      • Stretching the membrane – heat the room with a gas heater. Fit the membrane into the profile starting from the corners and working towards the middle of each section, until an even tension is reached.

    • What sizes and lengths do stretch-ceiling profiles come in?

      Standard profile lengths are 2 m or 2.5 m. Cross-section dimensions depend on the profile type:

      • Comfort and Classic wall profiles: height around 35–40 mm, width 10–15 mm. Shadow profiles (Classic/Sombra) have an additional shadow gap a few millimetres wide.
      • Gamma LED profiles: Gamma 20 and Gamma 20 SLIM – 20 mm gap; height approx. 37 mm (standard) or 31 mm (SLIM). Gamma 30 – 30 mm gap, height approx. 40 mm; Gamma 50 – 50 mm gap and a larger cross-section.
      • SU ceiling profiles: height 40–60 mm depending on the version; fitted with a mounting shelf for the slab.
      • Curtain-track profiles: width depends on the track type, roughly 60–150 mm, height 30–60 mm, length 2 or 3.2 m.

    • What are stretch-ceiling profiles made of, and are they corrosion-resistant?

      Mounting profiles are made mainly from aluminium alloys (type 6060 T5/T6). Aluminium is light, strong and corrosion-resistant. For extra durability, the surface is anodised or powder-coated. PVC profiles are also available – more flexible and cheaper, but less rigid – used for tight-radius curves or budget projects. Because of their construction, LED profiles draw heat away from the strip, which gives the diodes a longer service life.

    • Can stretch-ceiling profiles be bent? (e.g. for curved, wavy or 3D ceilings)

      Standard wall and LED profiles should not be bent by hand, as they can deform. Curved and flexible profiles are used for arcs and waves. These are dedicated strips made from thinner aluminium or PVC, which can be cold-bent to the radius stated by the manufacturer. Some manufacturers offer factory bending of profiles based on templates. Sets of segments joined with hinges are used for three-dimensional shapes.

    • Can LED lighting be integrated into a profile?

      Yes. Profiles from the Gamma family and some SU profiles have a special chamber, 20–50 mm wide, in which an LED strip can be fitted. The aluminium profile acts as a heat sink, preventing the diodes from overheating, and dedicated diffusers (flexible PVC or rigid polycarbonate) spread the light evenly. In two-channel profiles, two strips can be placed side by side for stronger or multi-colour lighting.

    • How is an LED strip fitted inside an aluminium stretch-ceiling profile?

      Choosing the strip – pick an LED strip whose width matches the chamber (e.g. 8–10 mm for Gamma 20 profiles, 20 mm for Gamma 30). Pay attention to colour temperature and power.

      • Preparation – degrease the inside of the profile so the strip adheres well. Check the strip’s length and adjust it to the planned line.
      • Fitting – peel off the protective backing and stick the LED strip to the base of the profile, pressing it down evenly. In two-channel profiles, place the strips side by side.
      • Connecting – run the wires to the power supply and controller. Hide the wiring inside the profile channel or a ceiling profile.
      • Diffuser – fit the diffuser by sliding it into the profile’s grooves. The diffuser protects the diodes and softens the light.
      • Test – check that the lighting works before fitting the membrane.

    • Does one type of profile fit every kind of stretch ceiling?

      No. Stretch ceilings can be single- or two-level, lit or unlit, with curtain-track recesses or a shadow effect. Each of these solutions needs a different profile. A basic wall profile (Comfort or Classic) is enough for simple ceilings, while a ceiling with a curtain track needs a curtain-track profile, a lit ceiling needs a Gamma profile, and a ceiling with an island needs an “SU” ceiling profile. Curved and niche profiles are used for curves and multi-level structures. The choice of profile should match the project.

    • Do I need just one type of profile for a stretch ceiling, or several?

      In practice, several types of profile are used. For example, in a living room a Comfort wall profile is fitted along the walls, a Gamma 30 LED profile is fitted in the middle to create a light line, an SU profile is used to build an island, and a curtain-track profile is fitted by the window. Combining different profiles makes it possible to achieve complex shapes and lighting effects.

    • How many profiles do I need to fit a ceiling in a room of a given size?

      The number of wall profiles matches the room’s perimeter. For a 4 × 5 m room, the perimeter is 18 m (2 × (4 + 5)), which equals nine 2 m lengths. On top of that, add the length of any extra profiles: LED lines (Gamma), islands (SU) or curtain-track recesses. It’s advisable to buy a 5–10% surplus for cutting and fitting. The exact number of profiles is determined from the technical drawing and the project.

    • What accessories are needed to install an aluminium profile?

      A complete installation needs:

      • End caps – close off the profile ends, protecting against dust.
      • Connectors and corners – elements for joining profiles at corners or in a straight line.
      • Cover strips – flexible strips closing the gap in Comfort profiles; not used with shadow profiles.
      • Diffusers – opal or clear covers for LED strips.
      • Hangers and mounting platforms – flat bars and brackets for fitting light fixtures, plus universal platforms for mounting lamps.
      • Reinforcing rings – PVC rings glued to the membrane at openings for lamps, ventilation or sensors. They make it easier to cut an opening safely.
      • Wall plugs, screws, a screwdriver – for fitting the profiles; 6 mm plugs are typically used.
      • Cyanoacrylate glue – for gluing rings and other PVC elements to the film.

    • Does the aluminium profile affect the safety of the ceiling structure?

      Yes. A professional aluminium profile is the “backbone” of a stretch ceiling. It provides stability, carries the membrane’s tension and prevents deformation. Aluminium is non-combustible, which improves fire safety. Using a profile that is too thin or of low quality risks the harpoon coming loose and the membrane sagging. That’s why it’s worth choosing profiles from reputable manufacturers and installing them according to the project.

    • How do you care for and clean aluminium profiles after a ceiling is installed?

      Most of the profile sits under the membrane, so it doesn’t need regular care. Visible elements – shadow strips or curtain tracks – can be wiped with a soft cloth and a mild detergent solution. Abrasive or aggressive chemicals should never be used, to avoid damaging the anodised or powder-coated finish. For profiles with an LED strip, it’s worth checking now and then that the diffuser is clean, so the light isn’t dimmed.

    • Where can I buy original stretch-ceiling profiles?

      Original mounting and LED profiles can be bought from authorised stretch-ceiling manufacturers and distributors. In Poland these include, among others, 2K-Trade, Alteza, Dosufitu.pl, SamodzielnySufit.pl, Abrox and Alumineu. They offer a full range: Comfort and Classic wall profiles, SU ceiling profiles, Gamma LED profiles, niche profiles, curtain tracks, end caps, connectors, cover strips and mounting accessories. It’s worth buying from trusted sellers to be sure of quality and system compatibility.

    • What is the price of an aluminium stretch-ceiling profile?

      Profile prices depend on the type, cross-section and fittings.

      Basic Comfort wall profiles cost around 6–10 PLN per running metre. Shadow profiles – Classic, Sombra or Contour-Pro Lux with a shadow effect – are more expensive, usually 25–40 PLN per metre.

      Gamma 20 SLIM and Gamma 20 standard LED profiles cost around €2.75–3.10 (about 12–14 PLN) per metre. Gamma 30 costs around €3.15 per metre, while Gamma 50 and two-channel profiles reach higher prices.

      Curtain tracks are available from around 165 PLN per metre (in white or black). On top of the profile cost, add the price of diffusers, end caps, connectors and other accessories.

    • Are aluminium profiles available in different colours or finishes?

      Yes. Aluminium can be anodised or powder-coated. The standard finish is anodised silver (aluminium’s natural colour), but profiles painted white, black, graphite and in RAL colours are also available. Shadow and curtain-track profiles are often available in white or black to match the membrane. Some profiles are sold raw (not anodised), which can be painted with aluminium paint. Diffusers for LED profiles are available opal (white), black or clear.
