These are aluminium LED profiles that go into plasterboard (drywall) and are filled over together with the board. GK LINE IN 20 and GK LINE IN 30 are 14.4 mm high and come in a raw Mill Finish ready for painting. As a wholesaler we sell them in 2 m lengths, from 20 m.

How to choose a plasterboard LED profile

  • Width of the light line. GK LINE IN 20 has a slot of about 20 mm and takes LED strips up to 20 mm wide. GK LINE IN 30 has a 34 mm channel for two strips or one high-power strip.
  • Build-up depth. Both profiles are 14.4 mm high, so they suit thin drywall constructions.
  • Heat. The profile weighs about 0.35 kg/m (IN 20) or 0.40 kg/m (IN 30), and the aluminium draws heat away from the strip.
  • Diffuser and end caps. GK LINE IN 20 takes the soft DF-G.20 diffuser; GK LINE IN 30 takes the soft DF-G.30 or the rigid milky DH-G.30, plus end caps: diffusers for LED profiles.
  • Strip and power supply. See our LED strips and LED power supplies.
  • Older models. ACTIVE (surface) and CONCEPT (recessed) for 8–10 mm strips are withdrawn from the standard range and available to order.
