The DOUBLE-BOX profile by 2K-Trade is a modern and versatile solution for installing stretch ceilings, designed to provide maximum functionality and flexibility. Its unique construction allows for two different ceiling-to-wall finishing effects, depending on how it is installed.

Firstly, when installed in the classic position, the profile creates a shadow gap effect similar to that offered by the CLASSIC series. This produces the popular “floating ceiling” look, where the ceiling fabric appears visually detached from the wall with a subtle shadow. It’s a stylish and contemporary solution, especially popular in modern interiors.

Secondly, when the profile is flipped, it can be used with a dedicated PVC gasket—exactly like in traditional COMFORT profiles. In this configuration, the mounting space is concealed, creating a clean, seamless ceiling-to-wall connection.

Importantly, the DOUBLE-BOX profile was designed specifically for scenarios where drilling into walls is difficult or not possible—for example, when walls are finished with porcelain tiles, glass panels, mirrors, or other challenging materials. In such cases, the profile can be attached to steel brackets fixed to the ceiling, completely avoiding contact with the walls.
