LED profile diffuser DH-C.G.30 with flexible hooks
DH-C.G.30 is a hard polycarbonate diffuser for the whole range of GAMMA 30 profiles, which are used to build light lines in stretch ceilings. The light-diffusing surface is rigid, as in a standard hard diffuser, while the mounting hooks are flexible. The hook design is what sets it apart from the DH-G.30 diffuser.
The flexible hooks bend as they go into the profile grooves and spring back once they click in. The diffuser goes in with less pressure, so long light lines are easier to fit. Less force during fitting and removal also lowers the risk of catching the stretch ceiling film by accident. It does not rule that risk out completely: a lot depends on the fitting technique.
Once clicked in, the diffuser holds firmly in the profile. When you need to get to the LED strip, it is easier to take out and put back. How even the light line looks also depends on the LED density of the strip, the depth of the profile and the distance between the strip and the diffuser.
